An art in and of itself, the options in tile are rarely limited. As a choice for homeowners looking to improve their space, the durability and unique character of tile makes it a difficult option to beat.

In its most dense or heavy form, hand texture can look like venetian plaster. In its lightest form it lends a subtle and finished timeless beauty to drywall. I have hand textured many spaces and love working with the medium!

As a Studio Art Major with a Painting Concentration you could say I love painting. But more than that it is always something that I love to do well and have fun with. It doesn't matter the space or type, I want to do it, day in and day out. Let's have some fun with the easiest upgrade you can give your space!
Moxie & Mortar Ltd.was founded by Emily Lum.
Emily graduated from college in Michigan with a Studio Art degree and has always loved working with her hands and especially learning to use new materials. She currently lives in Loveland with her husband and four kids. Over the past fifteen years they have together run an Airbnb, built an ADU from the ground up, started and sold a climbing gym, and then added a 1600 sq ft. addition to their 950 sq. ft. 1902 bungalow in downtown Loveland. Through all of these adventures Emily was given the opportunity to apprentice under some pretty awesome people who are incredible in their crafts.
Emily loves coffee, cooking, painting, organizing and designing, hiking, camping, and doing as many of those things as possible with her family.
Hiring Emily means hiring someone who will communicate thoroughly, work efficiently and meticulously, offer a fair price with low-key and no-pressure demeanor, and will leave your home or business in better condition than she found it in. [Send a message] or [fill out a quote form].
Disclosure: this website was built entirely the old fashioned way without AI and as you can tell, I'd much rather be tiling, painting, or textruing, so let's get down to business.
